Jimmy and Shelley Dinsmore
Jimmy and Shelley Dinsmore have lived in the Petén Jungle region of Guatemala since 2006. They are the founders of the Kekchi Bible Institute and the Colegio Cristiano IBQ (an elementary school providing world-class education to indigenous children in Guatemala) and parents to 4 wonderful kids. Jim and Bonnie DeHart
Serving together in Guatemala is what united the hearts and vision of the Dinsmores and the DeHarts. Jim and Bonnie had been in the same region of Guatemala since 2009 supporting remote villages, hosting groups from the US, and investing in Guatemalan national leadership while serving on the board of Directors of the Kekchi Bible Institute, Colegio Cristiano IBQ’ and founding with us Indigenous Training Solutions. Tragically for us, Jim and Bonnie lost their lives in a plane crash on February 13, 2023 in Guatemala. Their legacy lives on in the lives that are forever changed because of their work. A Scholarship fund in their memory has been established for children at the Guatemalan jungle elementary school.
